Simple and comforting sliders made with tender rotisserie chicken, creamy filling, and melted cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work best)
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the slider buns horizontally to separate the tops from the bottoms. Arrange the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the buns. Layer the cheese slices over the chicken mixture.
  5. Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.
  6. Mix the melted butter with parsley and poppy seeds. Brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes covered with foil. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Watch the timing to avoid overbrowning the tops. Use high-quality ingredients for maximum flavor.
