Ingredients
6 large eggs
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Black olives (for decoration)
A small piece of red bell pepper (for decoration)
Instructions
Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with water, ensuring the water is about an inch above the eggs. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and reduce the heat, letting them cook for 10-12 minutes.
Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes.
Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell. Peel the eggs under running water to help remove any stubborn bits of shell. Slice each egg in half lengthwise.
Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper, then mash until smooth.
Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites, creating a mound.
Slice black olives into halves and strips, placing halves on top for spider bodies and arranging strips for legs.
Slice the red bell pepper and place pieces on olives for eyes.
Arrange the completed deviled eggs on a platter and serve chilled.
