A simple yet satisfying grilled chicken breast recipe that’s juicy and packed with flavor, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper until combined.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Heat the grill to medium-high heat. If using an indoor grill or grill pan, make sure it’s hot before placing the chicken.
  4. Remove Excess Marinade: Take the chicken out of the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts on the hot grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Avoid pressing down on the chicken to ensure it stays juicy.
  6. Rest Before Serving: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in more tender meat.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for best results, pound the chicken evenly for better cooking, and allow it to rest to maintain moisture.
