A comforting dish combining tender chicken with creamy flavors, perfect for family meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Angel hair pasta, rice, or potatoes for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Ensure they’re laid flat.
  2. Layer the ingredients: Add the cooked and crumbled bacon, followed by the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, chicken broth, ranch dressing mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Spread these ingredients evenly over the chicken.
  3. Cook it low and slow: Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. The chicken should be tender and easily shred with a fork.
  4. Shred and mix: Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken right in the slow cooker. Mix everything together until well combined.
  5. Serve: Scoop the crack chicken over your choice of angel hair pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes for a comforting meal.

Notes

Cook on low for best results. Consider using high-quality ingredients for optimal flavor.
